FABTECH Educational Sessions
Call for Speakers
Submission Deadline: March 23, 2012
The FABTECH Conference, co-sponsored by the Chemical Coaters Association International (CCAI), Fabricators & Manufacturers Association, Int'l (FMA), the Precision Metalforming Association (PMA), and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME), consists of practical sessions focused primarily on the following areas of interest: automation, cutting, finishing, forming & fabricating, green initiatives, lasers, lean/operations, management, materials/processes, stamping, and tube & pipe.

Review Criteria
Abstracts will be reviewed by industry committee members. Notification of acceptance/denial will be sent out in mid-May. To be considered, presentations should be:
- Timely and useful to the manufacturing community
- Intended for users of the technology
- Free of commercialism and clearly defined
Submitting an Abstract
There are two ways to share your knowledge at this event.
- Conference Sessions: Present on a specific topic or technology as one of up to four speakers in a 2-hour technical, classroom session or as a solo speaker for the entire 2-hour time block.
- Tech Tour Sessions: Present with 2 other companies on a technology during a session with Tech Tour, where attendees move from the classroom to the show floor to visit your booth and see technology in action. Presenting companies must be a current exhibitor and have working equipment in order to qualify for this type of presentation.
