Dr. Chris Kuehl is the managing director of Armada Corporate Intelligence. Armada’s mission is to combine the traditions of corporate and competitive intelligence with strategic and tactical planning to provide clients with a clear view of the world they exist in and what they can do to advance their goals. Major clients include YRC Freight, TranSystems, Kansas City Southern Railroad, C-Biz, and others. He is editor and publisher of a daily e-publication – Business Intelligence Brief, distributed by Chambers of Commerce and business organizations around the world. It deals with business and economic trends and how they affect strategic decisions. He also serves as the economist for the National Association for Credit Management and the state CPA societies for Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina and Kansas. In addition, Armada publishes the Executive Intelligence Brief three times weekly. It is designed to focus on risk assessment and corporate decision-making.
Chris holds a Ph.D. in political economics, a Masters in East Asian Studies and a Masters in Soviet and East European Studies and was a professor of international economics and finance for 15 years prior to founding Armada CI in 1999. He taught in the U.S., Hungary, Russia, Estonia, Singapore and Taiwan.
