If you’ll be traveling to FABTECH from another country this year, you are not alone. The post-show report from our last show in Chicago tells us that international visitors from 87 countries made the trip to Chicago that year. It may take a little extra planning, but experiencing FABTECH 2017 will definitely be worth it.
If you’re not sure where to begin, the first step to attending FABTECH is (of course) to register as an attendee. While you are filling out the registration forms, the option to request a visa letter of invitation will be part of the process. Recent changes to immigration laws in the United States may increase the time it takes to apply for a visitor visa. For your convenience, we’ve put together an information page for international visitors that has links to various forms you might need. International Visitors Should Register EARLY
The most important thing to consider when applying to visit the U.S. is time. Give yourself plenty of extra time just in case you have to complete extra steps. Of course, once you have fulfilled the requirements to travel to the U.S., we have some helpful tips for traveling to FABTECH 2017 as well. One very important thing to consider is transportation -but making your arrangements through our travel partners will allow you to take a shuttle to and from the show each day.
