CCAI’s Industrial Finishing Training Manuals to be Available in Spanish

Industrial finishing training manuals, published by the Chemical Coaters Association International (CCAI), have been a valuable resource for companies and individuals for decades. Covering topics ranging from system design and pretreatment to powder coating, liquid coating, and electrodeposition, the technical manuals provide essential education to industry newcomers as well as seasoned veterans.

CCAI’s training manuals will be available in Spanish starting at FABTECH 2019 in Chicago this November.

Recognizing their popularity throughout the industrial finishing industry, the manuals have been regularly reviewed and updated by CCAI members who are experts in the various technologies covered in the manuals.   “It’s important to stay current with technology changes and provide the most relevant information to the industry,” notes CCAI Executive Director Anne Goyer. Considering CCAI’s presence at FABTECH Mexico and the growing need for training in Spanish in the United States, CCAI’s board of directors acknowledged the importance of providing the manuals in Spanish.  As a result, translation is underway. Manuals currently in the translation process are:
  • Powder Coating for Industrial Finishing Applications
  • System Design for Industrial Finishing Applications
  • Pretreatment for Industrial Finishing Applications
  • Liquid Coatings & Equipment for Industrial Finishing Applications
Once complete, the Spanish language manuals will be available for purchase through CCAI’s website www.ccaiweb.com. The first of the translated manuals is expected to be on display in the CCAI booth (B13026) at FABTECH. All four manuals are anticipated to be available at FABTECH Mexico in May 2020.
