Jordan Yost of Las Vegas Nevada founded Precision Tube Laser, a high mix, mid-volume job shop in 2018. Yost, a successful businessman and former professional race car driver, did not come from the world of manufacturing but saw a glaring need for a faster, more efficient solution to manufacturing. Precision Tube Laser was one of the first companies that pioneered the idea of on demand manufacturing. Yosts’ concept was simple; offer customers no minimum orders, fast lead times, at affordable costs. Yost decided to start with the least known and under utilized service: laser tube cutting. Through a strategic and consistent use of social media Precision Tube Laser began to change the manufacturing world and expose it to the masses. PTL has rapidly grown over the past 8 years and continues to expand its capabilities and services. The company now produces parts for customers all across the country and in almost every industry. Their flexible and accessible approach to manufacturing has helped companies with R&D, scaled business, and develop complete product lines. The company's approach is that no customer or job is too small or not important enough to take on. This has led to a customer base ranging from garage hobbyists all the way to aerospace and defense. Listening to his business sense has paid off, while other manufacturers were chasing big contracts he provided a resource that wasn’t available to the smaller customers. He turned small customers into big business. Precision Tube Laser plans on continuing to stay on the forefront of the industry by investing in the latest technology and forging partnerships with key equipment manufacturers.
