FABTECH Mexico Receives the Eventus Award
The Eventus Award Evaluation Process
A committee of staff and managers from different areas of CINTERMEX is in charge of selecting nominees in different categories and select events which deserve a special recognition award to be given at the end of the ceremony. This selection is based on the results of more than 9,000 satisfaction surveys applied to visitors and exhibitors, and taking into consideration the following aspects:For the Events:
- Planning and Technology.
- Advertising, Image, and Promotion of the event.
- Organization and speed in the registry.
- Access logistics and security.
- Relevance to the community.
- National and/or International Participation.
- Quality Conference Program
For the organizer:
- Planning and Punctuality.
- Organization and fulfillment of its customers sales.
- Advertising and Promotion Campaigns.
- Success in Selling stands/booths.
- Control and management of suppliers.
- Professionalism and Service.
- Event’s Logistics.
- Quality and amount of attendees.
- Content and appearance of each booth or stand.
After the awards ceremony, CINTERMEX offers an exquisite cocktail or dinner for all its guests, enlivened by a surprise show. On Friday 29th of April, the 23rd edition of the EVENTUS Award took place, within the framework of the 25th anniversary of CINTERMEX. The best events held from 01 January to 31 December 2015, were recognized during this ceremony. The evening began with a welcome cocktail in the Lobby Convention 2, where all the guests enjoyed a crème brule with red berries and music played by a cellist.
The 23rd Annual Eventus Award Ceremony
Eventus 23 presenters, Marcela Mistral and Luis Carlos Ortiz, welcomed all attendees and introduced Gonzálo Escámez Sada, General Director of CINTERMEX, who said “it is time to pause on this journey to analyze the pillars that have being forged to sustain this organization during the last 25 years.
These pillars are the Board of Directors which has always been committed to the development of the company, our staff who daily strives to meet the needs of all of you, internal processes certified by ISO 9001, whom work with us to achieve a continuous improvement of our operations and processes, our quality policy which leads us to be the convention center with the best customer service in Mexico,
our catering service that allows us to add value to all of you through the quality of our foods and beverages, and finally our infrastructure and associated services that we have been growing year after year to meet the needs of space and technology for all your events.
Without a doubt, these pillars remain essential to overcome any adversity that might appear in the near future.”
One by one, all 23 categories were mentioned and each of the winners went up to receive his award.

FABTECH Mexico
Mr. Joseph Krall, American Welding Society, and Marcela Ordaz, Tradeshow Consulting, accepted the award for Event of the Year on behalf of all the show co-sponsors including the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association International, SME, the Precision Metalforming Association, and the Chemical Coaters Association International.

After the awards ceremony , all attendees enjoyed a delicious cocktail with a menu specially designed for the occasion, accompanied by the music of the band “Jazz Right” . The evening ended with a concert played by a versatile musical group that made the 23 EVENTUS an unforgettable experience.
